One HR is a network of UN organizations working together to offer advisory services for cost effective and risk-informed acquisition and management of talent across the UN System.
OneHR provides organization design, job classification and reference checking services.
OneHR provides advisory recommendations to participating organizations. All administrative decisions are taken by the organization, within its existing Accountability Framework.
OneHR is a virtual network of specialized HR professionals providing these services under a common operational umbrella and has an administrative hub in Bonn, Germany through its host organization UNDP/UNV.
The OneHR operating model is the effort of over 15 UN organizations who continue to contribute to the development of this innovative business model through the sponsorship of the CEB HR Network Co-Chair.
OneHR is the product of a collaboration between IT leaders and business process owners since its inception.
OneHR is streamlining human resources processes to ensure timely completion of job design and talent acquisition. We are reducing duplication of work and ensuring cost-savings across the common system in the following areas:
The current expected annual volume is 3,519 for Job Classification (JC) and 2,600 for Reference Verification (RV). In the 2018/2019 period, OneHR expects an increase in participating organizations and case volume. With the operationalization of consultant pools to support the increase in service volume, OneHR is well positioned to keep pace with projected increases. To monitor the balance of supply and demand, the team has developed a model for tracking case volume and capacity requirements on a dynamic basis.
